• The storm flaps fit as one piece all around the tent. This makes the mats easier to handle, and with less flickering in strong winds. The peg connector is integrated in the storm may and specially adapted for use with skis.
• Patagonia is supplied with a double pole set and has a pole channel system designed to accommodate two poles in one channel. This provides extra safety and stability. Robust pole cup and mitten-friendly solutions make both pitching and unpacking in extreme weather much easier. The channels are color-coded up against the poles so it is easy to find the right pole for the right channel.
• The tent has double attachment points and gathered guylines. This means that fewer pegs are needed on many of the guyline attachment points, making it easier and faster to pitch the tent. Even weight distribution is ensured by the guylines sliding through a ring.
• Inner tent with 360-degree zipper for great opening and flexible ventilation
• Patagonia is equipped with a sturdy zipper that withstands icing better than a normal zip. .
• To protect the tent, and to make it as easy as possible to pack it on a sled, a specially designed sled bag is included. Being able to pack the tent without removing the poles from the channels makes it very easy and quick to pitch and take down, even in strong winds. This is a critical safety moment on extreme journeys.
