The upper material is nevertheless lightweight and remains breathable. The "lotus blossom effect" gets weaker over time due to wear and tear - the good news is that it can easily be refreshed. Important to know! A WR impregnation is not "waterproof", but only "water repellent". To have dry feet even in heavy or continuous rain, a membrane is needed to make the shoe "waterproof". The water-repellent material can withstand light rain, but there is always the possibility of water entering through the tongue in individual cases. The functionality is not designed to withstand heavy rain. Functionality decreases over time.
